Couldn't Have Done It Without You

Late last year, Comstar Supply's president, Chad Punchard, along with his wife, Kelly, and his mother, Gwen, presented the Cancer Center at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia with a check for $277,818. The funds raised were donated by generous customers, suppliers, and employees during the Quinquennial Earl S. Punchard Golf Invitational this fall. The event was the largest-ever community fundraising outing that benefited CHOP and we can’t thank everyone enough for their support to this worthwhile cause. Receiving the gift from CHOP were physician-scientists Dr. Richard Aplenc and Dr. Patrick Grohar.

Comstar Adds Candes Spencer To Southern Sales Team

Comstar Supply is pleased to announce that Candes Spencer has joined the company to help lead sales in new Southern markets. The addition of Spencer will enhance the company’s ability to serve and support Tier 2 and 3 customers in Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi, Georgia, and Kentucky.

Spencer has nearly 15 years of experience in sales and support within the telecommunications industry. Her career spans seven years at Draka, now Prysmian, and most recently she worked for Corning Optical Communications since 2013.

“The addition of Candes to our sales staff is another significant resource investment that will help bolster our Southern operations,” said Chad Punchard, President of Comstar Supply. “We’ve known Candes personally and professionally for years and have long admired her successful track record to grow market share and increase revenue. Spencer earned her bachelor’s degree from Western Carolina University and will be relocating to Hickory, NC.
